Zhajilhamo (Tibetan: བཀྲ་ཤིས་ལྷ་མོ།) is the only female dharma protector in Tibetan Buddhism associated with ritual alcohol consumption. Her iconography defies tradition — depicted with a turquoise-blue face, serpent-forked tongue, and fangs, astride a black mule, yet adorned in opulent silks and crowned with skulls. Legend claims she originated as a malevolent spirit from Han China, subdued by Master Tsongkhapa and converted to Buddhism. Now enshrined as the chief deity of Lhasa’s Zhaji Temple, she governs unconventional wealth and serendipitous fortune, revered by merchants as the "Tibetan Wolf of Wall Street".
